We make a point of not taking ourselves or the game too seriously while at the same time, running an active and well-organized guild with a strong focus on alliance and community events. In our time here in Guild Wars we have been a 'Guild of the Week' as awarded by Arenanet, a 'Guild Wars Notable Guild', and have been involved in numerous events and contests which we have either hosted ourselves, or else taken part in cooperation with other groups. We have grown slowly, but steadily over our 6+ years and currently have approximately 160 members combined within our two guilds. Despite our size, [ESP] is not, nor will we ever be a 'mega-guild' where people are simply another number lost amongst the ranks. We are a community of friends who work and cooperate together and provide a huge variety of ways for everyone to be included and take part in the guild experience. A few basic details: We are an 18+ Guild Internationally based, with members from every continent (except Antarctica . . .) We host our own ventrilo server, the use of which is not required, but strongly recommended Our own, highly customized forums Leaders of a full Kurzick Alliance We find crumpets, pants, vodka, and platypi to be amusing topics of conversation We are actively planning our transition into GW2 What We Do: Variety is the spice of life. Rather than attempting to specialize in any one particular aspect of the game, we enjoy taking part in the full spectrum of what Guild Wars (and eventually Guild Wars 2) has to offer. And by 'everything' I mean literally EVERYTHING -- missions, Zaishen Quests, GvG, HA, speed clears, balanced dungeons, -- pretty much whatever our members are interested in doing plus some new things we make up ourselves that probably no one ever suspected they would want to do (pantsless FoW anyone?) In addition we host a wide range of weekly and yearly events, some of which are specific just to our alliance and some which are open to the entire Guild Wars Community. Who We are Looking For: We are not a guild for everyone -- nor should we be. We have carved our niche in the Guild Wars Universe by catering to those who are casual, fun, and sociable. If you are 50/50 and GWAMM that is great. However, we are equally as responsive to people who are just picking up the game for the first time. The unifying factor in [ESP] is that we want to spend our gaming time around fun people who can laugh with us at the ups and the downs and continue on through the long stretch together as a guild family. We stand by each other and cooperate as a team. It is a low-stress environment where we can focus on playing the game and we aim to keep it that way.
